The Pros

You are always available.

You know exactly what makes you laugh and what not.

The Cons

You already know all the jokes.

You are too close to the material.

You already know what you want to say with a joke. That means you aren’t the best person to spot what could be misunderstood.

You can be too critical and not critical enough at the same time.
